In Invisalign

People with pretty teeth smile with confidence. For nearly 20 years Invisalign has been making straight teeth without braces a possibility for millions. Gone are the days of metal braces with their food restrictions, clunky appearance, and uncomfortable wires. Unless people know you are wearing the custom-made aligners, they will not even notice them. Plus, you can easily remove them when eating your favorite foods and thoroughly cleaning your teeth. If you are considering Invisalign for your teenager, they will hardly balk at their painless orthodontic future. Here is why you should choose Invisalign!

Invisalign Works

Invisalign corrects teeth for those with crowded teeth, gaps in their teeth, an overbite, a deep bite, or shifts in teeth after braces. Once adult teeth, including second molars, have grown in, an initial screening with Dr. J.D.”Bo” Westmoreland will verify if Invisalign is the correct choice for you. Dr. Westmoreland is an Invisalign trained orthodontist who can be counted on to give you the best care possible.

The Process

Once you and Dr. Westmoreland have decided that Invisalign is the correct choice for you or your teenager, the process of getting your custom-made aligners begins. Dr. Westmoreland will write a treatment plan and submit it to Invisalign along with x-rays and an impression of your teeth. We then use state-of-the-art 3D imaging technology to create aligners made precisely for your teeth. Your teeth gradually straighten as you progress from one aligner to the next, about every two weeks. You can expect an appointment with Dr. Westmoreland every six weeks to ensure that everything is working as it should.

The Final Product

After the last aligner has been worn, you can smile with sincere enthusiasm, knowing that you have pretty and practically perfect teeth. With a new sense of confidence, you can fearlessly laugh amongst friends, family, and new acquaintances.
