Dr. Westmoreland has been proudly serving our community for over 20 years. His dedication to his patients shows in the excellent dental work he does. His practice offers a variety of dental services to meet the needs of all. Here is an overview of Westmoreland Dental’s services.
General Dentistry
General dentistry includes the overall care of your oral health needs including your gums, teeth, and bones. At Westmoreland Dental this includes basic oral surgery, bonded or teeth colored fillings, crowns, bridges, partials, dental implant restoration, or root canals. In addition, Dr. Westmoreland provides care for the entire family meaning he also provides children’s dentistry. If your child is in need of dental care, we can help!
Sedation Dentistry
Sedation dentistry is not offered at every dental practice but is at our office. This is offered to patients who may have anxiety or fears about receiving dental work. It allows the patient to relax to the point that they won’t feel any pain during the procedure. In most cases, they will likely have no memory of their visit even though they are slightly awake. Sedation dentistry is a safe and powerful tool for those who require dental care but are afraid. All of the medication used is very safe and Dr. Westmoreland is trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support too!
Invisalign
Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten one’s teeth without using braces. Most adults who require braces opt for Invisalign instead! A 3-D computer imaging machine projects your future tooth movement and creates aligners for you. Every few weeks you will trade out your clear aligners for a different one, and slowly your teeth will straighten out.
TMJ and Migraine Therapy
Not only do we offer general dentistry services, but therapies as well. TMJ pain and migraines are something that can interrupt your everyday life. We offer painless Botox injections to effectively relieve headaches, TMJ, and facial pain. It only takes a few minutes and remains effective for up to three months. The muscles begin to relax therefore relieving any tension in that area.
TMJ Laser Treatment
If you require more intense TMJ treatment, our laser therapy could be right for you. The laser uses pulses of high-intensity light at a certain wavelength to target areas of pain. When applied, the muscles correct themselves, and blood circulation increases. As a result, the muscles will automatically relax.
