Dear Dr. Westmoreland and Staff,

Because of a horrible experience when I was six years old, I have been terrified of going to the dentist. Even now, at 64, when the dentist walks into the room, I can feel the tears start to well up and that panic feeling in the pit of my stomach.

When I found an ad in the phone book for Dr. Westmorland and Sedation dentistry, I felt like I had stuck gold. Not to say my fear was completely gone but I at least had hope.

I decided to give it one more try. It had been years since I had my teeth cleaned and I figured there would be a lot of discomfort. But I can say, without hesitation, this was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office... I did not feel anything... not even when Dr. Westmoreland numbed the area to be cleaned. Next thing I know, it's all over. In the past my mouth was numb for hours, but the numbing was gone in a couple of hours and my gums did not even get sore.

If you are looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Westmoreland. He and all the staff are wonderful. Not everything you read in an advertisement is true, but I promise, this one is completely true. I cannot thank everyone enough for a pain free experience at the dentist office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Westmoreland for about 3 years. No one is more afraid of a dentist than I am. I would rather do anything than have a dentist drill put in my mouth. I get such severe anxiety I get physically sick and have a panic attack. I was recently confronted with the fact that I needed a new crown.

Dr. Westmorelandand and his staff discussed my fears with me, always being patient and understanding. I was prescribed medication for the night before the appointment and the morning of the appointment. I slept well without anxiety. I was relaxed and calm throughout the entire procedure. I went home and slept for about 2 hours and woke up feeling rested. I did not have any lasting effects from the medication. I would have another procedure without hesitation. Thanks to Dr. Westmoreland and the sedation he priscribed, I now have a new crown and a healthy mouth.

Dr. Bo,
I am a 51 year old woman who hadn't been to the dentist in over 25 years. I tried taking care of my teeth with brushing but that's just not enough. My teeth were hurting everytime I ate so I knew I had to find a dentist I could trust. All my past experiences with dentists had been very painful. I went online to check out sedation dentistry and found several dentists in my area but decided to go with Dr. Bo. We talked and I told him how scared and nervous I was and he promised he wouldn’t hurt me. As of now I have had to have all my upper teeth and all my bottom moalrs pulled. I haven't had any pain at all! I have never even felt the shots. I am now in the process of getting dental implants and am very excited. Dr. Bo keeps his promises and I now have a dentist I don't mind going to see.
