Before You Arrive
Save time by filling out your new patient forms before arriving for your first appointment. All of the forms are available on our website here. We will work with you to collect all your dental care information from your former dentist’s office. This will help us proceed without the unnecessary duplication of X-rays.
During Your Appointment
When you arrive for your first appointment, you’ll be greeted at our front desk. Your dental hygienist will walk you back to the treatment area. The dentist will do a thorough oral examination, look for tooth decay, gum disease, and other major issues. He will also examine any dentures, bridges, and implants. Your first visit may include X-rays if any are needed. The dentist can discuss any problems you may be having. A teeth cleaning may be part of the first exam or recommended for a follow-up visit. The cleaning removes plaque and polishes your teeth. Any necessary follow-up treatment will be discussed and scheduled. The first appointment generally takes 60 to 90 minutes. If the patient is a minor, he or she should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
After Your First Appointment
Our administrative staff meets with you about any payments and schedules your follow-up appointment once you’re done with your first visit. We accept all major credit cards and have several payment options available. We also have the Smart Smiles Saving Plans for patients without dental insurance.
